      I live in hope. Not too far away is a village called Hope with a village called Caergwele
      (don’t even think of trying it) not too far away. If anyone says “I live in Hope” round here they always get the response, “And die in Caergwrle” as it seemed that’s as far as many villagers ever got in the old days.

      • I think small towns are wonderful. That’s just the kind of thing i associate with them — local charm and humor… old sayings.
        There are studies even now that say most people in the US still live in the same state in which they were born. I saw one 10 years ago that said most live within 50 miles of their birthplace. So maybe that hasn’t changed much.
